Pam and Jim swim together in a masters program. It just so happened that they were in the same wave start at the California 70.3. They finished within seconds of eachother.

The author prepares for tomorrow's California 70.3 (half ironman). Unfortunately it is raining cats and dogs, and the temperature is dropping. The author thought that it never rained in Southern California.
